One night I had a dream that I would participate in a childcare center our church had started. I volunteered, and then began to work as a teacher in the center. This position lasted a year-and-a-half. I learned how to handle children in mass. I worked alongside the best staff in the industry. They taught me systems that were fail-proof. They taught me strategy. I learned what to do and what to let go of. I learned PATIENCE!
The childcare center eventually closed, and my husband and I decided to open a daycare from our home. I took the best of what I learned from the center and improved on it to form a home daycare that functions with the structure of a center but the safety of a home. We have been open here at Cecilia’s blessings since February 2020.
